Summer Lovin' : Poolside Cabanas

There's something about summer that we all long for: the smell of sunscreen, a tall glass of lemonade in hand, splashing your toes in the water, cutting into a juicy watermelon, and lounging by the pool in the hot sun. We are especially fond of poolside cabanas. They're the ultimate in outdoor living, plus, they don't require the hassle of a full-blown renovation but give the feeling of a finished room. From pagodas, to gazebos or tents, the options are endless. We're kicking off our cabana countdown with a proud moment from Griffin Design Source that was featured in this month's issue of Interiors Magazine

Shutters are ideal for a poolside shelter. Open them for an airy, barely-there atmosphere or keep them closed for added privacy.

Make a statement with stakes. Instead of a basic frame, add finials for an unexpected element.
