Global Bazaar

Pairing these pieces together will add a boho-chic element to your space. The ikat-inspired prints and rich hues are staples that you would find in the markets of Morocco. The horn sconces add an extra tribal layer with an animal reference. The chrome base and chocolate shade keep the look from being too rustic. Top off a lamp with one of our sliced agate finials for an extra dose of earthy glamour.

 Relaxed 

These are our go-to pieces for a 5-minute mini-makeover. Swap out your throw pillows, ditch tired books, and make your mother's china proud with our aqua and metallic accessories. Our greek key pillow just arrived and we're obsessed! The needlepoint work is tremendous and gives it a lovely, nubby texture. We also can't get over our new placemats which are hand-designed and painted in custom Farrow & Ball colors. Their special coating makes cleaning a breeze. Just spray and wipe.

 New Traditional

One of our favorite design go-to's at GDS is mixing old and new. Heirloom furniture gives a room personality and depth that you can't buy. Our tufted green velvet chair is a statement piece that can anchor the look of an entire space. Layer with new accessories to enhance the items you already have. Our gorgeous bedroom rendering, nautilus finial, and floral-printed pillow do just that.

J'Door

Heavily lacquered doors in a rich poppy red are enhanced
 by a pair of insanely gorgeous, oversized nickel door handles.  

The door is often neglected. Ironically, it's the face of the home, the most-viewed "room", and the first impression made to guests and passersby. Done correctly, doors can be a place of major impact and statement-making with some relatively simple updates. All you need for a quick makeover is a fresh coat of paint and interesting hardware; throw in a lantern or pair of sconces to really seal the deal. Here's a sampling of doors j'adore! Glamorama. The lovely metalwork and antiqued finish
gives this door aMoorish quality. We love the muted
coral paired against an armor-like facade.

Substantial molding on a pair of double doors with
 sturdy brass knobs against a simple and lovely parquet floor.

For a seamless look, continue the visual line of the wall
 by mimicking the same treatment on the door. Polish off the
look with a simple rubbed brass handle. 

The French know how to make you do a door double-take,
from the lion head knocker to the patina on the wood frames.

Though relatively bare, the unusual scale makes this
 door striking.

Who knew that a ballet pink door could be masculine?
The painted over-sized nailhead trim and unusually placed
 mail slot take this door over-the-top.

Play off the colors in your room, whether it's wallpaper,
textiles, or  paint colors and incorporate the hue into the
 molding trim for an extra pop.

Add mirrors into the paneling to make spaces seem larger.
The painted motif at the bottom is the perfect juxtaposition
 with the mirrors, blending country cottage and ornate.

Designer Miles Redd's front door is ah-may-zing.
The polished nickel hardware, large centered knob,
wall-mounted lantern, and greek key door frame.
